We are on the way to Freedom!

(weiter unten in deutsch…)

On the 17th of May we crossed the first border. 400 refugees, migrants, non-citizens, sans papiers and non-affected people in solidarity crossed the Europe Bridge from Kehl to Strasbourg.
One day after the European elections we took back our human right. We marched publicly across the border between France and Germany to Saarbrücken. We used the two days in our protest camp in Saarbrücken to make our demands public with a demonstration and a theatre. In the Lager in Lebach close by, where hundreds of people are living under inhumane conditions, we loudly expressed our solidarity. We had a spontaneous demonstration at the Bundesamt für Migration und Flüchtlinge, which is located in the Lager. Those responsible for the terrible situation of refugees in Europe shall feel our rage!

Mobilize in the Lagers!
Transport refugees to the protest march and back!
Organize solidarity actions!

Our demands are:

  • Freedom of movement and free choice of residence for all
  • Stop of the Dublin-trap and forced accomodation in Lagers in Europe
  • Permanent, unconditional residence permit
  • Stop imprisonment and deportation of migrants
  • Equal political, social and cultural rights for all: right of education and work
  • Same working conditions for all
  • Stop European imperialist policy: no more free trade treaties and NATO wars
  • Abolish FRONTEX, EUROSUR and other anti-migration policies and measures

The next stops of the March for Freedom are:

Solidarity Statement from Mexico via Berlin

México vía Berlín e. V. in solidarity with Caravana Viacrucis del Migrante, Caravana por la Libertad de Tránsito, March for Freedom and all the migrants and refugees on the planet.
The process of globalization has enabled goods and services to travel over the entire planet. However, no opportunity is given for people in this process to change their place of residency. Given the ease with which individuals can move, the answer of the States was to tighten up migration laws. Continue reading

Press Release from 25th of May

Sarreguemines 25th of May

-Press Release-

We are continuing our March Against the Borders of Europe, Frontex and the Dublin system. Tomorrow we will do our second action of disobedience by crossing the border of France to Germany. We are having now the European elections. After the election for the European Parliament the EU will continue to make laws that will foster the isolation laws. While we are fighting against borders, everday people are fleeing from wars and are dying in the seas and at the borders of the EU . the European Goverments are investing rather in the border defence agency Frontex, or arms and war industry instead of using this assets to improve the lives of refugees and migrants. Due to the economic crisis racism is enhencing in Europe and the first target of racism are refugees and migrants. But the reason for this crisis are neither refugees nor migrants rather the capitalist economy and wars are causing the refugee issue. The European Governnents are creating all these problems therefore it is up to them to bring the solutions. As the goverments are not bringing any solutions and as we are denying to live our lives under their repressive frame we are practically liberating us of these borders and isolation in coming out to the streets and searching for our own solution from the bottom. We are calling all the refugees and migrants who are living in isolation to join us on the streets.

We will continue our Protest March for Freedom until Brussels to confront the responsibles of these laws directly in the capital of the EU.

March For Freedom

Refugees Protest Strike in Hannover

Refugees Protest Strike in Hannover
We, the Protest March for Freedom, like to greet the striking refugees from Hannover!!

We started our Europe-wide march on the 20th of May from Strasbourg to Brussels – the capital of EU.

We are violating the immigration law deliberately by crossing the border to send a strong action message to the EU community breaking our barriers of fear and isolation. We are fighting for our rights that naturally belong to us in order to put pressure on the law makers so they should stop repressive migration laws!

With our march we want to show that we can stand together as one to oppose racist, colonialist laws in Europe.

The European Governments are producing the wars and arms! The European citizens can travel free all over the world and consume what is there – but those who flee from wars and poverty are criminalized or killed at the borders of Europe! We cannot accept this inhuman conditions!!

We feel stronger everyday as our struggle in the streets are growing and growing! The Refugees Protest Strike in Hannover is part of our struggle and reason we are marching 500 km to Brussels – the capital of the EU.

Support and stay in solidarity with our friends in Hannover! Let’s fight together against these racist laws that are isolating us and depriving our human rights and dignity!!

ABOLISH FORTRESS EUROPE!!

ABOLISH DUBLIN!!

ABOLISH FRONTEX!!

RIGHT TO STAY FOR EVERYONE!!
